An extravagant documentary comedy about the biggest kitsch people have fallen for.
A curious recording technician Rigo sets out on an adventurous journey. He wants to find out why people get obsessed with a pink flamingo. This universal symbol of kitsch and pop culture attracts Rigo as well but at the same time he feels disgust. And the more Rigo tries to ignore the flamingo, the more often he sees it. Rigo travels to the USA to talk to everybody who has anything to do with the pink bird, including the iconic director John Walsh.
Presented at festivals SXSW 2020, Fipadoc Festival 2021.
